Best Practice Hub Learning – Our Yearly Recap
The Considerate Constructors Scheme’s Best Practice Hub concluded 2023 with a notable expansion of its free online resources, presenting critical value for senior construction executives committed to elevating industry standards and operational efficiency. Designed to advance considerate construction, the platform recorded over 2,000 new registered users and disseminated 300 new examples of best practice and innovation. Strategic additions included a "Spotlight on…" learning toolkit focused on carbon reduction, an e-learning module, and partnerships with Drinkaware and Gambleaware addressing workforce welfare – all crucial for ESG agendas. Furthermore, three new instalments of the "Resolving Complaints" series, covering parking, inappropriate behaviour, and working hours, aim to mitigate reputational risks and enhance community relations. The Hub saw over 9,000 e-learning course completions, underscoring strong industry engagement. For 2024, the Scheme plans full CPD Accreditation for its e-learning courses, a significant development for professional development and compliance. This, alongside new toolkits and an expanded educational offer, reinforces the Hub's position as a vital, no-cost strategic asset for navigating evolving industry practices and regulatory landscapes.
