Over 50 finalists will compete in critical construction disciplines, including additive manufacturing, architectural stonemasonry, and electrical installation, underscoring the event’s role in developing specialised expertise. Key industry partners such as SISK, Crown Paints, Jones Engineering, and the Construction Industry Federation lend substantial backing, highlighting corporate commitment to fostering a highly skilled workforce. Ray English, Chair of WorldSkills Ireland, emphasises the event's crucial function in promoting apprenticeships as viable, rewarding alternatives to traditional academic routes, essential for driving innovation and economic competitiveness.
